Mixed matrix membranes (MMMs) comprised of molecular sieve particles incorporated in polymer can increase permselectivity of membranes [1]. Incorporation of suchzeolites in dense polymeric membranes can enhance dehydration performance of pervaporation membranes [2].The main purpose of this study was to synthesize a MMM using polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and an adsorptive filler (NaA) for ethylene glycol (EG)–water mixtures.
