چکیده مقاله:

In this study, given the urban development plan and a huge tendency toward theconstruction of high apartment buildings in city of Tabriz, a disconnection of relationshipbetween child and nature and child”s limitation in indoor spaces, which leads to meet the needs ofchild’s indoor play space, is examined. Today the process of horizontal plan, which consistsdesirable central yards according to the city”s architectural space, has been turned into thevertical plans. In Iran and specially in the city of Tabriz, unfortunately, the primary schools andkindergartens which are important connections in providing relationship between child andnature, are built in unsuitable spaces or places that do not have any recreational or educationalcapacity ( usually in originally detached houses). Developing urban life and the tendency towardhigh apartment buildings construction and the change in life-style have limited the children bothspatially and temporally so that there is a discrepancy between child”s interactions with naturecompared with that of the last generations. In this study, there is an effort in the establishment ofchild”s interaction with the vertical development of urban areas so that the principles needed forthe promotion of urban area”s quality and the increased interaction of the child with thesurroundings can be examined.
