چکیده مقاله:

The concept of identity derived from psychoanalysis school, but for the first time; Erikson (1965) paid more attention to the identity subject. Other researchers such as Blasi (1962), Koldberg (1962), Iwinger& gigan (1985) provided detailed views about identity, but in the current three decades, almost researches about identity place in the Marcias’ theory from work ( Berzonsky, 2003), Marcia said ; identity development showed that the changes in its function & its concept, changes that it happens in internalizing values, goals, expectation &self-regulation development. So, the personal conception have been found in her/his self about stability, based on Marcia theory, identity development includes 2 basic concepts: acquisition & engagement (commitment)Acquisition depends to the level of personal research & surveying on values, opinion, programs, views & different social roles & commitment means faithful to groups of contracts, goals & values, the results showed that the faithful & interested employees to the organization, they have more job satisfaction to staying in that & also have little absence & more & high work motivations & acceptation to changes, so the organization can realize its employees’ organizational commitment & realize the changes in effective factors on goals. Organizational commitment means a status of a person who identity her/him self by organization based on surveying on relationship between these two categories that are so important among persons & comparison among different organizations, so the goal of this research is surveying on the relationship between identity style & organizational commitment among employees of youth & sport department of providences such as; Tehran, Kohgiluyeh& Boyer-Ahmad, Kermanshah, Zahedan, Chaharmahal&Bakhtiari& Lorestan
