چکیده:

Being a natural product crude oil differs in quality, i.e. in water content and separation behaviour, depending on the oil field where it is produced. Two crude oils from different production sites were investigated with respect to their emulsion stability. The influence of an industrial demulsifier on the water separability of the more stable crude oil emulsion was subject to further investigation.Real-time separation analysis at gravity is compared with accelerated stability analysis in the centrifugal field.
